Ex-Housing Fund Boss Guilty of Abuse of Office in Land Sales

Ljubljana, 30 January - The Ljubljana District Court has sentenced Edvard Oven, the former head of the national Housing Fund, to four and a half years in prison for abuse of office in property sales between in 2002 and 2003. He was also ordered to pay a EUR 35,000 fine. The verdict is not yet final.
