Snow and Ice Causing Problems, Train Transport Disrupted

Ljubljana, 31 January - Large amounts of snow and ice are continuing to cause problems around the country, especially in the north-west and in the direction from Ljubljana towards the coast where train transport is disrupted. Power blackouts amid ice storm-like conditions are reported from the area around Postojna, where kindergartens and schools are closed.
