Ice Grip Loosening, Situation Still Difficult

Ljubljana, 6 February - Slovenia is gradually loosening itself from the grip of an ice storm that encased large swathes of the country into thick ice. Temperatures rose well above zero Thursday, but infrastructure is still heavily affected and a massive relief effort is under way to provide food and power to people cut off by falling trees and broken power lines.
