Prešeren Prize Goes to Writer Kavčič and Composer Merku
Ljubljana, 7 February - On the eve of Culture Day, novelist Vladimir Kavčič and composer Pavle Merku were honoured with the Prešeren Prize, the top national accolade for lifetime achievements in arts and culture. The awards, introduced 67 years ago, were given out at a high-profile ceremony at arts centre Cankarjev dom on Friday evening.
