Many Still without Power, Rain Putting Pressure on Rivers
Ljubljana, 9 February - The recent ice-storm left as many as 14,000 households still without power on Saturday afternoon as rescue efforts were continuing around the country. The melting of snow and sleet, coupled with rainfall, is meanwhile posing a threat of flooding, especially around the rivers of Ljubljanica south of Ljubljana and Krka (SE).
