Slovenian Banks End 2013 with EUR 3.2bn Pre-Tax Loss
Ljubljana, 13 February - Slovenian banks continued to bleed red ink last year as pre-tax losses climbed to EUR 3.2bn, according to a report from the central bank. Banka Slovenije said the results were due to bigger provisions and impairments stemming from a continuing deterioration of bank portfolios and collateral.
