Slovenia Urges Brussels to Withdraw GM Maize Proposal

Ljubljana, 13 February - Slovenia and eleven other EU member states have urged the European Commission to withdraw the proposal to approve a new type of genetically-modified maize for cultivation in the EU, after the country opted against the proposal on Tuesday.
