Diptychs of Ugandan Gay Activists Take Top Prize at Photo Contest

Ljubljana, 20 February - A series of diptychs portraying Ugandan gay activists by photographer Tadej Žnidarčič took the first prize at the Photo of the Year contest organised by the arts magazine Emzin. The series dubbed "We Are Here, We Are Gay And We Are Ugandan" is marked by a thoroughly thought through concept, the judging panel said as it justified the award.
