Slovenia Well Above World Average in Terms of Women MPs
Washington, 20 February - Around 21% of deputies in lower chambers of parliament around the world are women, according to the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU). Slovenia is among the 35 countries which have more than 30% of women deputies, sharing the 26th place with New Zealand (33.2%).
