Ministry Welcomes Tougher EU Tobacco Rules

Ljubljana, 27 February - The Health Ministry has welcomed a new EU directive aimed at cutting back on tobacco use. The new rules, which will phase out menthol cigarettes and introduce mandatory graphic warning labels on packages, will be transposed into Slovenian legislation "as soon as possible", the ministry said on Thursday.
