Over Thousand on Strike in Two Mines

Velenje/Trbovlje, 3 March - More than 800 workers in the Velenje coal mine and another 200 miners in Trbovlje staged token strikes on Monday in two unrelated industrial actions in which one of the demands is better pay. While the strike committee in Velenje is confident about the ongoing talks, negotiations in the Trbovlje-Hrastnik mine (RTH) have not even begun.
