Parliament Overrides Veto on Expanded Freedom of Information

Ljubljana, 24 March - The National Assembly mustered more than the required absolute majority to override the upper chamber's veto against the expanded freedom of information act on Monday. Deputies voted 60 in favour and none against for expanding disclosure requirements from the public sector to firms in majority ownership of the state and municipalities.
