Večer: The Spanish Initiative

Maribor, 3 April - The daily Večer is astonished to find out Europe is still somehow remote from Slovene politics. Excessive worries about Slovene pride, dignity and firm stands - words used by Slovene MPs at the extraordinary session for the last five days would lose their weight if Slovene Parliament instead of persisting in false dilemmas, would realize what the consequences of missing another opportunity to "catch the train for Europe" would actually be. Only then could we speak about not having a firm stand, about grovelling and selling off Slovenia, writes Večer.
