Ministry Drafts Changes to Allow Recall of Mayors

Ljubljana, 3 April - The Interior Ministry has drafted changes to the local government act which enable local voters to recall mayors, but not earlier than one year into their terms and not later than six months before the regular local elections. The changes also envisage the possibility of recalling a municipal council.
