Picture Book Celebrates Slovenian-Born Chinese Astronomer Hallerstein

Ljubljana, 10 April - Publisher Mladinska knjiga launched on Thursday a unique picture book celebrating 18th century Slovenian-born Chinese astronomer Ferdinand Avguštin Hallerstein. The author is Huiqin Wang, a Chinese painter living in Slovenia, who used an ancient technique involving a special type of Chinese paper for the illustrations.
