Publishers Worried Following MKZ Sale to Rival Publisher

Ljubljana, 10 April - The acquisition of 51.2% in Mladinska knjiga založba (MKZ), Slovenia's biggest publisher, caused mixed reactions Thursday. Publishers fear that the new owner, the second biggest publisher Učila, will not sell their books in the country's only bookshop network, while Culture Minister Uroš Grilc said the sale ends a period of uncertainty for MKZ.
