Popes John XXIII and John Paul II Also Left Their Mark in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 24 April - Popes John XXIII and John Paul II, who will be declared saints on 27 April, have also influenced the Church and developments in Catholic Slovenia. This is especially true for Pope John Paul II, who visited the country twice and played an important role in the Vatican being one the first to recognise Slovenia's independence.
