Prime Minister Drnovšek and Party Leaders on Spanish Initiative

Following "considerate differences and problems" in the Parliament regarding the standpoints on Slovenia's efforts to approach the European Union and NATO, Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek proposed to meet with parliamentary parties to discuss this important issue. Prime Minister Drnovšek Friday met with leaders of all the parliamentary parties. They agreed to meet again next Wednesday with the goal to achieve "consensus".
