Bill on Tourism Defines Promotion of Tourism as Activity of Public Importance

The Bill on tourism promotion, drafted by Ministry of Economic Activities, defines the promotion of tourism as an activity of public importance, State Secretary of Tourism to Ministry of Economy Activities Peter Vesenjak told a press conference Tuesday. The essence of the bill, expected to be discussed by the Government Thursday, is its stimulative and not regulative character.
