Mixed Reactions to Plans to Quit Bid for Financial Transaction Tax

Ljubljana, 10 May - The Slovenian Bank Association has welcomed the indication of Slovenia's potential withdrawal from the group of EU member states planning to adopt a financial transaction tax, arguing the receipts would not outweigh the negative consequences and costs. The indication of a withdrawal was meanwhile slammed by trade unions.
