Slovene-Chinese Scientific Cooperation

President of the Chinese Natural Sciences Foundation Dr Zhang Xinshi and President of the Slovene Science Foundation Dr Venčeslav Kaučič signed in the presence of Chinese ambassador to Slovenia Lu Pei Xin a memorandum on cooperation between scientific institutions of both countries. The delegation of Chinese scientists, having concluded Wednesday a five-day visit to Slovenia, visited the Jožef Štefan Institute, Maritime Station in Piran, the Karst Research Institute, Institute for Biology and the caves of Škocjan. Signing the memorandum, both institutions have undertaken to continue scientific and research cooperation, started last June, and agreed to exchange students, scientists, experience, information and literature.
