Slovenia Drops Three Spots to 55th on IMD Competitiveness Scoreboard

Lausanne/Ljubljana, 22 May - Slovenia lost three spots from last year to place 55th on the 2014 World Competitiveness Scoreboard released by the Swiss management institute IMD. Peter Stanovnik of the Institute for Economic Research believes that the country lost ground mainly due to the state of public finances, while it faces other problems as well.
