Weekly Review of Slovene Economy from 9 through 13 April

Ljubljana, 13 April - Slovene Parliament discussed at its emergency session on Friday the strategy of economic development of Slovenia - approaching Europe - growth, competitiveness and integration. The Parliament adopted suggestions on standpoints and decisions on a document with the strategy. The MPs adopted a decision that they were informed on the strategy and gave their support to it as a fundamental guideline for defining the role of the state as one of the partners and a co-creator of market economy in all fields of economic development. The Parliament also recommended to the Government to continue work in solving systematical and other issues connected to Slovenia's approaching to the European integrations, in forming a foreign economic strategy and an industrial policy and a strategy of small companies' development.
