International Colloquy on a Right to Privacy Opens in Portorož

Ljubljana, 14 April - SLOVENIA/COLLOQUY/INTERNATIONAL/KUČAN/TARSCHYS/THALER
A three-day international colloquy titled A Right to Privacy - Law - Medicine - Media, organized by Slovene Foreign Ministry, opened in Portorož (west) Sunday. The colloquy, organized in memory of the late Slovene journalist and the first Slovene diplomat to the Council of Europe Andrej Novak, is attended by numerous Slovene and foreign experts, gathered to discuss the right to privacy from different aspects: those of law, medicine and media. Colloquy is attended also by Slovene Foreign Minister Zoran Thaler sponsoring the conference, President of Slovenia Milan Kučan and Council of Europe Secretary General Daniel Tarschys.
