Crooner Alfi Nipič Wins Award for Life in Showbiz

Maribor, 8 June - Alfi Nipič, a crooner with dozens of hit songs to his name, is the recipient of this year's Viktor Award for lifetime achievements in showbusiness. "I've waited 50 years for this," the 69-year-old said as he received the accolade in Maribor late on Saturday.
