First World War also Strongly Affected Civilian Life
Ljubljana, 19 June - The First World War overhauled the civilian life of Slovenians, with women taking over the burden of everyday activity from men, who were massively mobilised for the Austro-Hungarian army. Solidarity with all victims of the war was strong and humanitarian campaigns were organised for both the military and civilians.
