Prime Minister Drnovšek Informs US President on Parliament Decisions Concerning Slovene Accession to EU and NATO

Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek sent a letter to US President Bill Clinton Tuesday informing him on the Parliament's decision concerning Slovene accession to the European Union and NATO. He also thanked the president for US concern and assistance in Slovene efforts and expectations to sign the association agreement and bridge the current dispute with Italy, Prime Minister's Office reported.
