Brussels Insists on Privatisation of NKBM by Year's End

Luxembourg, 20 June - Slovenia has failed to convince the European Commission to defer the deadline for the privatisation of NKBM. The Commission has stuck to its recommendation regarding the country's second largest bank, with Commissioner Olli Rehn saying that recalling the date could affect the prize and the return for the Slovenian taxpayers.
