Prelesnik Gets Commission Backing for Info Commissioner

Ljubljana, 2 July - The parliamentary Credentials and Privileges Commission proposed to the National Assembly on Wednesday to appoint its secretary general Mojca Prelesnik the new information commissioner. The nominee of President Borut Pahor faced opposition by the Democrats (SDS), who believe that she does not meet the professional criteria for the job.
