DBS Bank Ordered to Carry Out EUR 6M Recapitalisation

Ljubljana, 3 July - DBS, a small bank in majority ownership of cooperatives, has been ordered by the central bank to carry out a EUR 6m recapitalisation in order to boost its capital adequacy. Otherwise the owners will have to either sell the bank or see it nationalised, as was the case with the three largest banks NLB, NKBM and Abanka.
