Minister Thaler Met with His Spanish Counterpart Westendorp

Slovene Foreign Minister Zoran Thaler met Friday evening in Madrid with the head of Spanish diplomacy Carlos Westendorp. In the framework of intensified Slovene diplomatic activity and the commission to the government to carry out the signing of the association agreement between Slovenia and the European Union, Minister Thaler informed his Spanish counterpart on standpoints and decisions on Slovenia's accession to EU and NATO adopted by the Slovene Parliament, sources from Slovene diplomacy reported.
