Weekly Review of Slovene Economy from 15 through 20 April

Ljubljana, 20 April - Slovene Minister of Economic Relations and Development Janko Deželak left for Vienna on Monday to attend a four-day Spring conference of The World Trade Centres Associations (WTCA) and the Central European Initiative. The conference was attended also by representatives of the Slovene Ministry of Economic Activities and the Slovene Chamber of Economy. Individual business meetings within the conference were attended by representatives of some Slovene companies. Slovenia was presented as a business partner country in the framework of presentations of individual countries and regions. Ministers of economic relations from nine member countries and government representatives from five countries-observers in the Central European Initiative (CEI) presented in Vienna at the so-called communication meeting on small and medium-sized companies economic features of their countries and the role of small and medium-sized companies. The communication meeting was chaired by Slovene Minister of Economic Relations Janko Deželak since it is Slovenia which is chairing the CEI working group for small and medium-sized companies.
