Nedelo: Slovenes Support Entry to NATO, but not its Military Bases on Slovene Territory

Nedelo's public opinion poll, conducted in a sample group of randomly chosen phone subscribers and released Sunday, indicates that as many as 71 per cent of respondents believe Slovenia must become a member of NATO. Asked whether Slovenia should become full NATO member, only 13.1 per cent answered "no" and 15.9 per cent "I do not know".
