Energy Firms Renegotiate New Coal Price, End Miner Strike

Velenje, 17 July - Following a spontaneous ten-day strike at Slovenia's biggest mine, the bosses of mine Premogovnik Velenje, power station TEŠ and their owner HSE, signed on Thursday a document increasing the price of coal the mine sells to the nearby TEŠ. The move fulfils the main strike demand by more than 1,000 miners.
