Number of Flats Rising Quicker than Population

Ljubljana, 23 July - In Slovenia, apartments are being built quicker than people are being born: while the number of inhabitants rose by a meagre 2.7% between 2002 and 2010, the number of apartments increased 7.6%. Half of all the apartments were built after 1971 and the construction was the most intense during the 1970s.
