Cyrus - A Long-Term Energy Source Alternative (Also) for Slovenia

International environmental organization Greenpeace presented in Ljubljana its mobile solar power plant Cyrus. Sun and other renewable energy sources along with effective use of energy have a potential of replacing the Krško nuclear power plant (JEK) and may provide a major boost to Slovene economic development, Greenpeace coordinator for Slovenia Albin Keuc said at the news conference Monday, calling on all Slovene citizens to back solar, nuclear-free future for Slovenia and sign the petion for closing the Krško nuclear power plant.
