Over Six Million Hours Spent On Volunteer Work in 2013

Ljubljana, 24 July - Almost 47,000 volunteers put in a total of 6,161,795 hours of voluntary work in 2013, the government heard in a summary report on voluntary work on Thursday, which combined 194 organisations. The majority of volunteers are more than 60 years old, while most of them are women, the report also said.
