Greenpeace activists held a picturesque protest action in Ljubljana Wednesday against the purchase of steam generators produced by the US nuclear corporation Westinghouse, claiming that rather than for replacing old generators in the Krško nuclear power plant, the USD 120 million be allocated for the development of alternative and safer energy sources to the Slovene economy, the Slovene branch of Greenpeace reported Wednesday.
