Karavanke Tunnel Expansion Entering Next Stage

Ljubljana, 5 August - Two and a half years after Slovenia and the Austrian province of Carinthia signed a memorandum of understanding to build the second tube of the Karavanke tunnel, things in Slovenia are starting to move. A decree on a national zoning plan was adopted at the end of July and construction is to be completed by 2020.
