130 Years of Slovene Red Cross Organization

Ljubljana, 25 April - RED/CROSS/ANNIVERSARY
A national celebration at the 130 anniversary of the Slovene Red Cross organization took place in the Cankarjev dom cultural centre in Ljubljana on Thursday, sponsored by Slovene President Milan Kučan and with the participation of representatives of the Slovene Red Cross, prominent cultural and public personalities and a delegation of the Red Cross organizations from several other European countries, the International Committee of Red Cross, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent who were addressed by Slovene Speaker Jožef Školč.
