Arhar Tears Apart Use of Bail-In Principle in Slovenia
Ljubljana, 29 August - Head of the Banks' Association and former central bank governor France Arhar has expressed strong criticism of the state wiping out holders of subordinated debt as part of the December 2013 bank bailout. He spoke of "virtual" bankruptcy, arguing it had not been stipulated legally as a basis for erasing claims to banks.
