Growth Rate of Retirement Slowing down in Last Two Years

There were 460,262 pensioners in Slovenia in 1995. Most of them were old age pensioners (262,587), the others being either beneficiaries of disability pensions (96,883) or family pensions (83,121). 17,671 of them were beneficiaries of pensions in accordance with the former law on farmers' pension scheme. The number of pensioners has been increasing more slowly over the last two years.
