Intensive Relations between Slovenia and NATO

Ljubljana, 28 April - Secretary General of NATO Javier Solana is to pay an official visit to Slovenia on Tuesday. Slovenia has had very intensive relations with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization lately, while the Slovenes still remember Secretary General Solana as the former Spanish foreign minister who participated actively in the preparation of "the Spanish proposition", which is believed to enable Slovenia eventually to sign the Association Agreement with the European Union.
