Alenka Bratušek, from Anonymous MP to Commissioner Nominee

Ljubljana, 5 September - In late 2011, she was one of two dozen largely anonymous MPs elected to the National Assembly on the newly-formed Positive Slovenia (PS) ticket. Less than three years later, Alenka Bratušek has been formally nominated for Slovenia's European commissioner pending confirmation by the European Parliament.
