Weekly Review of Slovene Economy from 28 April to 4 May

Ljubljana, 4 May - Retail prices were up this April compared to March by 1.2 percent on the average. Inflation in April, calculated on the basis of the growth of retail prices, was 1.2 percent. The prices of consumer goods increased by 1.4 percent over March and 11.4 percent over last April. Retail prices rose by 10.7 percent over April 1995. The same (10.7 percent) is April-to-April inflation rate.
