Unions Defiant as Govt Faces First Serious Fiscal Test

Ljubljana, 2 October - Trade unions are shaping up for tough talks with the government over public sector pay. The government needs to shave about EUR 80m off the wage bill for 2015 compared to this year, but the unions made it clear Thursday they were unwilling to even talk about anything but the extension of existing measures.
