Franciscan Monk Zore New Ljubljana Archbishop
Ljubljana, 4 October - Franciscan monk Stane Zore was appointed the 36th archbishop of Ljubljana on Saturday, becoming the first Franciscan on what is considered to be the most powerful position in the Slovenian Catholic Church. Senior church and state officials have already extended their congratulations.
