Parliamentary Commission Leaves Decision on Janša's Term to MPs

Ljubljana, 9 October - The parliament's Credentials and Privileges Commission did not take a final decision on the MP status of imprisoned Democrat (SDS) leader Janez Janša on Thursday. Instead it adopted two proposals that allow the National Assembly to either let him stay on or "get acquainted" with his term being terminated in line with the relevant law.
