Slovenia Welcomes End to Bank Secrecy Rules in EU

Luxembourg, 14 October - EU finance ministers, among them Slovenia's Dušan Mramor, approved in Luxembourg on Tuesday a directive requiring banks to swap bank account information with tax authorities in other member countries in an effort to fight tax evasion.
