Union-Owned Bank Buys Majority Stake in Maribor Airport

Maribor, 2 November - Delavska hranilnica, a small Slovenian bank controlled by several trade unions, has acquired 57% of Aerodrom Maribor, the company operating the airport in Slovenia's second-largest city. The bank's boss says the move was made in response to foreign ownership of Aerodrom Ljubljana, the operator of Slovenia's biggest airport.
